ATTENTION: E-Cigarette Manufacturers!

May 26th, 2011 by Brian No comments »

Vape Gourmet would like to become YOUR exclusive US wholesale outlet.

At the moment, there is a severe lack of wholesale companies based in the USA, and an especial lack of those who allow drop-shipping.  Vape Gourmet would like to fill that gap.

What is wrong with Chinese Wholesalers and DropShippers?

  • Expensive shipping
  • Slow shipping (“Slow boat from China…”)
  • Language Barrier (Chinese representatives are not completely fluent in English, Americans very rarely understand or speak any Chinese)
  • Customer Service (Returns must be sent all the way back to China, thus doubling or tripling the already high shipping costs.)

What can Vape Gourmet do for US retailers?

  • Low Shipping prices (USPS Domestic rates)
  • Fast Shipping times (Overnight or Next Day delivery available)
  • Quality Customer Service (Fast exchange/return turn-arounds, Fluent, native English speakers)
  • Standards-based sales system (Using Free, Open-Source software, costs for both Vape Gourmet and our resellers are kept low.)
  • “White Label” branding or custom branding.

What can Vape Gourmet do for Electronic Cigarette Manufacturers?

  • Provide a Professional USA Presence
  • Streamline orders through one US source for greater efficiency
  • Provide native English speakers to translate sales and support information.
  • Increase sales by targeting US and Canadian customers
  • Create a more efficient and less expensive North American Distribution Channel

What would Vape Gourmet need to make this happen?

  • Cash Investment – This can, ideally, come from our eCigarette manufacturing partner company.
  • Warehouse space (In TAX-FREE southern NH)
  • Exclusive Contract with the Manufacturer for North America
  • English-Speaking Manufacturer Sales Representative
  • Quality Guarantee

What kinds of products does Vape Gourmet intend to carry?

  • 510 series (including and especially the Tank variants) Starter Kits with manual batteries
  • eGo series (including and especially the Tank variants) Starter kits with manual batteries
  • “Tank” variations of the above
  • Batteries, chargers, atomizers, and cartridges for all of the above
  • USB Pass-through devices
  • Carrying Cases & Lanyards
  • Custom mix eLiquid (We have some AMAZING Recipes!)
  • New, and innovative products similar to the above.
  • All products MUST be brandable.
  • Vape Gourmet must be able to re-design ALL packaging and instructions.
  • All products MUST come AS ORDERED.  We will NOT pay for wrong product orders, poor quality, or broken or missing items.
  • Vape Gourmet does NOT want disposable e-cigarettes.
  • Vape Gourmet does NOT want automatic batteries.
  • Vape Gourmet does NOT want anything to do with non-refillable cartridges or cartomizers.

So, are you with us so far?

Excellent.

If you are either an eCigarette manufacturer or someone willing to invest in Vape Gourmet, please use this form to contact us immediately. We are ready to roll with a GREAT marketing plan that will take out products across North America and the Caribbean, both retail and wholesale to maximize profit all around.

What’s taking so long?

January 25th, 2011 by Brian No comments »

We have several end users chomping at the bit to get their hands on electronic cigarettes from us.  We’ve had a lot of people asking us what’s taking us so long to get going.

There are two answers to that:

First, we need your help.  Vape Gourmet has plans to enter the market right and become the star player in the electronic cigarette market.  In order to do that, we are going to do it right.  This takes some capital which we are trying to raise.  We’re doing this in two ways: first, we’re asking for voluntary donations through IndieGoGo.  If everyone contributed just a little bit, we can get the ball rolling.  Second, we’re looking for a real investor to help us get going with $45-100k.  The latter is a formal, real investment and would involve becoming a full partner in the company.  If you would like to become an investor, please contact us.

Second, we ran into major trouble with one of our suppliers.  We used our initial capital to purchase a set of demo products from Trueman E-cigarettes in China.  First they completely lost our order.  They assured us this was a fluke and never happened before.  They gave us almost daily reassurances they were trying to track the missing package (which never left China) and aside from the usual language barrier, seemed professional and courteous.  Finally, over three months later, confirming our order was indeed completely lost, they sent a replacement.  The replacement finally arrived and it was both incomplete (missing the accessories we ordered) and wrong (they sent us the wrong products for 2/3 of our order).  Now, we were out almost $500 with products we couldn’t show to investors because they are not the products we want to sell!  To make it worse, as we decided to demo what we had, we found that some of the units came with bad batteries and 4/5 of our chargers MELTED and died.  We debated whether to announce who this supplier was, but over time, as Trueman E-Cigarettes has ceased to be in any sort of communication with us, we are forced to conclude they are a scam and should be avoided at ALL costs.  We have decided to name the company because we hope no one else will fall for their scam.  We’re giving the few working kits they sent us to donors from IndieGoGo who help us recoup our losses.

We are now back to selecting a new supplier (we have several we can try) and looking for funds to order a new set of working samples to show off to potential investors and wholesale clients.  We have revamped our business plan to include becoming a major US Drop-Ship provider as well as US Based Wholesaler of electronic cigarettes. With help from your generous donations and/or from one solid investment, we strongly believe we can add quality and convenience to the United States market and beyond.

FDA Loses Appeal, Can’t Regulate E-Cigarettes as Drug

December 9th, 2010 by Brian No comments »

Dec. 7 (Bloomberg) — The U.S. Food and Drug Administration lacks the authority to regulate electronic cigarettes as drugs or devices, an appeals court ruled, upholding a lower-court decision.

The U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington said today the FDA can only regulate e-cigarettes as a tobacco product. The ruling means the government can oversee the marketing of the products, not restrict their sale.

This is GREAT NEWS for Vape Gourmet and YOU!

Now is the time to make a generous contribution to help us get all the Vape Gourmet electronic cigarette products into local stores! Won’t you help us out?

What is the best way to clean an atomizer?

September 19th, 2010 by Brian No comments »

This is probably one of the most frequently asked questions we hear.  Over time, your atomizer may get gunked up and work less efficiently.

The easiest way to clean it is to boil it in a pan of plain water for about 10-15 minutes.  Take it off the heat, let everything cool down and dry the atomizer thoroughly.  Discard the water and thoroughly wash the pan.  The best way to dry the atomizer is to blot off the worst of the water with a clean paper towel, then blow gently into the end where the cartridge goes in, while holding the other end in the paper towel.  Repeat till no more water comes out.  Then place the atomizer on its side in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place overnight.

After cleaning, drip a couple drops into the cartridge end of the atomizer before vaping with it.  Make sure the first cartridge you put into it is topped off with a drop or three of eLiquid.  Don’t over-fill the cartridge and try not to let it go completely dry.

We’ve seen just about every possible idea out there and this one seems to work the best.  Another alternative we use at our labs is to place clean water in a jewelery cleaner and turn it on for 10-15 minutes.  Make sure the water and the jewelery cleaning machine are very very clean and clean them when you’re done.  Follow the instructions above for drying.

Digital Camo eCigs?

August 10th, 2010 by Brian No comments »

Vape Gourmet just got another solicitation from an eCigarette manufacturer.

They offer their eCigarettes in digital camouflage.

I’m not sure if I should be appalled or intrigued.
